A new and exciting collab has seen the light of day – Fary Lochan x Bøgedal Bryghus.
In connection with “The Yellow People’s Festival” in Vejle, when the Tour de France caravan rolls through the city, we can hereby present our take on a Tour de France beer.
The beer, the collaboration between Bøgedal Bryghus and Fary Lochan, the specially designed label and gift box, the taste and the story are all one big tribute to the Tour de France in Vejle.
The beer style is a stout, and all three beers are aged in oak barrels.
The yellow jersey is aged in a used smoke cask, which previously held a nettle-smoked whisky from Fary Lochan.
The red (polka-dot) jersey is aged in a used whisky cask, which previously held an un-smoked whisky from Fary Lochan.
The green jersey is aged in a used rum cask, which previously held a sweet Hampden rum.
Three indescribably delicious beers, each with its own unique character and great taste.
Only 600 gift boxes have been produced in total.
