With this whisky series, we have created a foothold.

SÆSON is a snapshot of the present. A place from which we look forward, but also a place where we look back to the roots. Back to where it all began. Where the dreams of one day standing with a complete and well-crafted whisky arose.
SÆSON is the taste of dreams, of passion and of the craftsmanship that we have carried with us through time.

It is the taste of Fary Lochan.

Casks: 2 x 1st fill bourbon barrels (200 l)
+ 1 x 2nd fill oloroso sherry hogshead (250 l)
Distillate: Brewed with nettle-smoked Danish barley malt
Smoke: Yes – from nettles
Age: NAS
Alcohol content: 48% ABV
Tasting notes:
Colour: light golden grain straw colour
Nose: honey sweetness, light smoke, dried fruit, finishing with a delicate floral scent
Taste: soft sweetness with a dry smoke. Followed by sweet liquorice, salt and a cheeky alcohol.

This is a delicious, soft and rounded whisky. This is the whisky for everyone who enjoys good whisky. And preferably by the campfire.
