Jeppe Gram – The Doldrums LP

Fary Lochan is proud to have supported our old friend, Jeppe Gram, with the release of his latest album – The Doldrums.
It is well deserved that Jeppe Gram is now receiving the ultimate recognition for his many years of contribution to (jazz) music in Denmark.

The evening’s main award, Jazz Release of the Year, was presented to Jeppe Gram for the album The Doldrums.
The Academy statement praises Gram’s release in glowing terms:

“The artist behind the release is, in more than one sense, ahead of the beat with this highly successful release. The record is timeless good style and groovy, great company. Spot on, with ease, swing and, not least, effortlessness. A fantastic jazz record with both young and mature voices, convincing us that jazz has retained its power since the 1960s—and is ready for 60 more years.”
