Join a atmospheric tour of Fary Lochan, where nature, history and flavour go hand in hand. Here, the pace slows down, and you get the chance to experience the special atmosphere that makes the place truly unique.
As you move among the trees, you can feel the calm of the forest, hear the birdsong and breathe in the scent of spruce and the fresh air. Along the way, we share the story of Fary Lochan, the area’s unique nature and the handcrafted products created with inspiration from the landscape around us.
The tour is for anyone curious about local experiences – whether you’re a couple looking for a cosy outing, a family with older children, a group of friends, or simply want a different experience close to nature. No special requirements – just the desire to explore.
What makes Fary Lochan special is the personal story, the calm atmosphere and the close connection between nature and the products made here. It’s an experience with time for questions, immersion and presence.

The tour, which takes approx. 1 ½ hours (incl. tasting), goes through our small buildings located in Farre’s nature as well as underground passages that connect the many processes in the production of our whisky. We go through the production of whisky from start to finish and round off the tour in our shop.
Practical information
- Duration: approx. 1½ hours.
- Bring: clothing suitable for the weather, as part of the tour takes place outdoors.
- Menu 1 costs DKK 150 + booking fee
- Menu 2 costs DKK 250 + booking fee
- Children 0-12 years are free.
- Driver/children 13-17 years costs 100 DKK / 13 EUR (incl. one soft drink or one cup of coffee). + booking fee
- No serving of alcohol to persons under the age of 18.
- If you are the lucky holder of a gift card, voucher or free ticket (valid for menu 1) and would like to have menu 2, you can purchase an upgrade for DKK 100 + booking fee
ATTENTION! The tour must be booked at the latest the day before 12.00 (does not apply to open summer tours).
